My Christmas Message.

Spending Christmas away from friends and family always gives you a unique perspective.  I figure if the Queen can, I can.

No matter what nationality, color, race, sex or creed; Christmas is a time to reflect on the past, the present and our future.

It is time to remember that we are never truly alone; it is a time to seek understanding of ourselves and each other

It is a celebration of family, friends and strangers alike. A time to celebrate your co-workers, your next door neighbours; the guy at your local Chinese take-away who gives you that extra fortune cookie, and that kid you used to dish out wedgies to back in Grade 3(sorry), for we all share a common gift, the gift of humanity. A gift which is all too easily forgotten in the hectic pace of modern life.

It is a time to rejoice and celebrate our uniqueness and our sameness, for we all share a common heritage.

Christmas is a time of celebrating the dignity of the human spirit. A celebration of those you hold close, those who are dear to you and those who you probably don’t even know …yet.

No doubt we have all made mistakes in the past year, and now is the time to remember, to acknowledge and to change – to undo the misdoings of the past.

The giving of gifts is purely symbolic, the real gift is the friendship, the understanding and love that exists between us and for eacthother — a love we all share and that we should never forget

I would like to think that a little bit of love can change the world, we all have the opportunity to inherit love in our lives should we choose to.
